We want all members of our community to be able to participate in our programs, and we provide scholarships to as many students as possible.
Donations allow us to increase both the number and size of the scholarships we offer each term, providing greater opportunities for individuals and families in need.
We are a self-sustaining arm of the Newton Public Schools dedicated to your lifelong learning. NCE offer programs for everyone eager to explore—from toddlers to seniors—from Newton and beyond. When the school day ends, our classes begin, offering access to school facilities for community learning. We aim to inspire or nurture your passion with quality programs provided at a reasonable cost.

I’ve taken cabinet making, piano, tai chi, bridge, and several other courses through NCE. I have built furniture that still sits in most rooms in my home thanks to your programs, played several songs on the piano that have generously been called “music,” and are now having a blast with bridge.
