so i bought the medela advanced shoulder tote double electric pump and used it right away. after trying it a couple of times, i realized that my supply wouldn't go up and that i'd just wasted about 280 bucks. babies r us would not return it as it was already opened so i had to come up with some way to get my money back.
this is a bit "unethical" but i just couldn't stand the thought of throwing money away on a pump i wouldn't use--and knowing that i could have used that money to buy diapers or other baby supplies.
so. i went to Target and bought another pump identical to the one I'd bought/used from babies r us. Target's return policy on pumps is that you can return it no matter what within 90 days as long as you have a receipt. so after buying the new pump, i took the open pump back to Target and returned it (that was the original one from babies r us). Then, I took the unopened pump (the one I just bought from Target) back to babies r us witht the receipt and got a credit back.
it totally worked and i got my money back---and used it to buy diapers!
